Creating prosperity is one of those topics about which numerous books have been written. And, as the author says in this book, the advice given ranges from the materialistic, how to make more money/how to get rich books, to those who believe in austerity, and the “new age” belief in an abundant universe where the riches we desire are ours as long as we affirm hard enough. The truth, says the author, is somewhere in the middle, and comes only after much personal work and finding of inner truths.
This is a small volume, and I’ll confess, at times I wanted the author to dig into topics more. It seemed that the book gave overviews, though with a copious amount of references and suggested reading in the back of the book, for additional study. On one hand that’s great. It’s good that the author lets the reader find out these truths for him or herself. However, for those who may have done spiritual work and growth and who might be searching for answers, the book may be lacking the concrete details those readers need.
But I don’t think anyone should let that put them off reading this book. I found several nuggets of excellent information, and had several “aha” moments while reading this book. Therefore, I can do nothing except strongly recommend this volume and look to some of the suggested reading in the hopes that I will only discover more.
