The month isn’t quite over, but I was thinking about not only my yearly overview reading I did for myself, but also the monthly reading I posted on YouTube. And once again, the cards were spot on, though not in the ways I initially thought.
My reading for the month of April came out this way:

April 21-30 The Ancestors (The Heirophant)
The Five of Arrows
As I started the month I was stressed with finishing up taxes, trying to juggle too many things and feeling very overwhelmed. But the lesson of this card is to choose carefully which arrows you set free and make sure you choose your targets wisely. Taxes were completed and mailed on time. A few other projects completed. And I could feel the frustration and the stress ease as the month continued.
The Lovers
The middle of the month brought an increased connection with my partner as we worked together and discussed some things that needed to be discussed. I took a vacation (much needed) toward the end of this period and with it a focus on the partnerships that I have in my life, the friendships, and the balance that needs to come to everything.
The Ancestors
We all put the cart before the horse at time, and over the last five days I’ve learned that there is an order to things, that there are things we need to do, and that there is a reason we put these steps on our path. Now that I am honoring this, I see the Ancestors, mine, others, our collective history, at work. And I feel well and truly blessed.
