Have a novel idea, but not sure where to begin? Confused about first person vs. third? Think your idea is great, but not sure who your main character is? Join me for a weekend virtual intensive boot camp where we will start on Thursday, June 5, and continue the next two Thursdays. We’ll start with your idea and take you all the way through beginning the novel, the plot, and the characterization. Let me hold your hand as you take the step to become the writer you’ve always dreamed about being. We’ll talk about the building blocks of your novel, make sure you’ve done your back story and get you going with a strong beginning.

When:  July 5, 12, and 19
Where: Online! I’ll get you a link to our web conference software. FREE BONUS – I’ll make sure you have a copy of all the calls, including screen shots/PDF files so you can take this information with you.
What: Come with your idea, or even a glimmer of hope, and we’ll get you started with your novel. All genres welcome!
Who: YOU!

Plus, you’ll receive the recordings. You’ll receive an individual meeting with me (30-45 minutes) so we can talk about your book’s progress after the event. And, I’ll even critique the first 2000 words of your manuscript, since that’s what you want to really hook your reader (editor) with.

Schedule:
Thursday, July 5. We’ll meet from 7 to 9 CST. We’ll talk about ideas, plotting vs. just writing, characters, and then move into a talk about character driven and plot driven stories. Then, you’ll be given exercises for the rest of the week to refine your idea and get to know your main characters.

Come back on Thursday, July 12 from 7 to 9 CST. After a brief check in, we’ll talk about genres, boundaries, and breaking those boundaries, whether you should worry about marketing your novel now  and how to keep momentum when you start to flag. Your exercises this week will get you writing your book, making word count, and also working on refining ideas. FREE BONUS: MARKET DISCOVERY WORKSHEET

Finally, on Thursday, July 19 from 7 to 9 CST. After a brief check in and celebration of your word count, we’ll talk about inner editors, self-editing tricks, and continuing your momentum, making time for writing, and ways to find others to network with.

Don’t let this opportunity to work one-on-one with a published author and editor get away.

This is a one-time only low price. Future seminars will be offered at the regular price of $149.
